Dangeresque: The Roomisode Triangulate is now available on Steam and Itch.io, with plans to bring the title to iOS in the future.

If you’re wondering who or what Dangeresque is, he’s a character played by Strong Bad in the Homestar Runner Web Series. This series soared in popularity throughout the early 2000s, so much so that it got its very own Flash Game. This point & click adventure spin-off was called a ‘Roomisode’ as the entire plot was based around escaping a single room.

Knowing all this, the ‘Roomisode Triangulate‘ title makes a lot more sense as the game features 3 Roomisodes. The first is a remaster of the original, while the others both offer brand-new content. The description on Itch reads the following:

“Each room is a separate, standalone mini-adventure with its own puzzles to solve, inventory items to collect, and other characters to interact with.”

The trailer is laced with the Web Series style of humor, so fans needn’t worry about that aspect of the show being lost to time. The Roomisode Triangulate also boasts improved graphics, cutscenes, and voice-acting.

You can check out developers Videlectrix’s game library over on Itch. Even if you’ve never heard of Homestar Runner, you may have heard of Trogdor (Burninating the countryside, anyone?). Trogdor became so popular it even featured in Guitar Hero 2.

You can check out Dangeresque: The Roomisode Triangulate on Steam or Itch. At the time of writing, there seems to be an issue concerning the Mac version, but Videlectrix has provided instructions for a temporary workaround.
