Handheld console maker and serial retro game license persuader Evercade has noticed that we’ve all been chomping at the bit for release dates for 2021 products.
To satiate the demands of the rabid retro community, Evercade has responded – with an infographic outlining its plans for 2021. As you can see, it looks pretty exciting.
But does it ask more questions than it answers…?

From the graphic, we can see that the Jaleco Collection 1 will be along in April along with Piko Collection 2. May gives us Indie Heroes Collection 1 and Worms Collection 1. Is it safe to assume Codemasters Collection 1 and Intellivision Collection 1 will release in June and July?
If so, does this mean that Evercade VS will be available in August? Or does it make sense to skip July and August and focus on winter months, thereby pushing those products back to September and October? And do we have a headache just thinking about it?
Yes. Yes we do.
Without confirmed dates (which no doubt will be added to the infographic) it’s all sort of meaningless. But at least we can contextualise everything into some sort of order. We now know how Evercade plans to release things this year, even if there is still no date for Codemasters Collection 1 and the mysterious Evercade VS…
