Catcade Games is set to release Freddy Farmer, a challenging platformer with a distinct retro aesthetic, on Nintendo Switch and Steam. Launching on February 27th and March 4th, 2025, respectively, Freddy Farmer aims to capture the essence of classic arcade games with its tight controls and pixel-perfect precision.
The game tells the story of Freddy, a brave farmer on a mission to rescue his daughter from an evil dragon. Players will guide Freddy through 5 diverse worlds, each containing 7 unique levels teeming with over 25 distinct enemy types. The 16-bit pixel art style, coupled with fluid animations, evokes the spirit of the golden age of arcade gaming.
