Antonblast, the hyperkinetic platformer where destruction is the only answer, has finally arrived on Nintendo Switch after a critically acclaimed PC launch. Developed by Summitsphere and published by Joystick Ventures, Antonblast boasts an 87 Metacritic score on Steam and is now ready to unleash its brand of explosive mayhem on the go.

What is Antonblast?

In Antonblast, you play as Dynamite Anton, a construction worker with a face redder than Satan’s own. After the Devil himself steals Anton’s prized spirit collection, it’s time for some righteous retribution. Armed with a Mighty F’in Hammer and an endless supply of rage, Anton must smash his way through 12 sprawling levels, inspired by the golden age of 2D platformers.

Think blistering speeds, acrobatic maneuvers, and a whole lot of smashing. You’ll need to master the art of destructive momentum to dash, dodge, and deal damage to anything that stands between you and a swift punch to Satan’s face.

But you’re not alone in this fiery crusade. Alongside Anton, you can also play as his co-worker Annie. And let’s not forget Brulo, the disgraced former casino owner who, despite his “not-so-playable” status, adds a certain flair to the proceedings.
