Four Taito arcade classics are being bundled for release this year, including Operation Wolf and its sequel, Operation Thunderbolt.
The 1980s compilation from Taito and M2 was initially planned to feature just two games, but reports indicate that the collection will now include four titles. The collection, as announced for Japanese gamers, will feature:
Operation Wolf (Arcade/NES)
Operation Thunderbolt (Arcade/SNES)
Night Striker (Arcade/Mega CD)
Space Gun (Arcade/Sega Master System)
As you can see, each game is included in its original arcade version and console port.
Operation Wolf
Using only a machine gun and rocket-propelled grenades, you alone must infiltrate enemy territory, secure the hostages, then get them safely to the extraction point! The mission code is Operation Wolf.
Operation Thunderbolt
A hostage rescue mission in Africa and only one man can help! Roy Adams, hero of Operation Wolf is back, and this time his former green beret team-mate, Hardy Jones joins the fight. Your mission code is Operation Thunderbolt. Impossible odds are nothing to these men!
Night Striker
Become a member of the United Nations Special Action Force, a.k.a. Night Striker, and destroy the enemy terrorist organization with in your high-speed combat hovercraft: Intergray!
Space Gun

On their way to investigate an unexplained incident on a space station, a team of space marines receive a distress call from a cargo ship, but what could prepare them for the horrors onboard?! Use your multi-purpose rifle to slay the monsters and rescue the hostages!
The collection boasts a few enhancements for these games. You can apply CRT filters to simulate the look of real arcade monitors, and view useful information on either side of the play area. You’ll also find multiple arcade versions of each game, as well as be able to save and load their progress at any point during gameplay. Additionally, the collection supports uploading of player data as well as downloading and viewing data from top-ranked players. Finally, the games are compatible with the Cyber Stick intelligent controller.
