Retro gaming fans take note! QUByte Interactive has announced the release date for their revival of the N64 platformer, Glover. This unique adventure arrives on February 27th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Originally released in the late 90s, Glover has since found a dedicated audience. QUByte, a major Latin American publisher of independent games for modern consoles and developer specializing in retro titles, is bringing it to modern hardware with improvements for a smoother experience. QUByte also uses their QUByte Emulation Engine to port classics to modern systems. Their goal is to develop and expand the local games industry.

In Glover, you control a glove. A wizard’s magical mishap has created a good glove (you) and an evil glove. The Crystal Kingdom’s fate rests on your ability to recover scattered crystals and restore order.

Glover‘s gameplay is distinctive. You’ll manipulate a rubber ball across six worlds, collecting crystals. The game combines puzzle-solving, adventure, strategy, and action. Expect challenges, acrobatic moves, and obstacles.

Glover launches on February 27th for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and will also be available on PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. A 10% launch discount is available for the PlayStation and Switch versions. Glover has also recently had a re-release on another platform, in 2024 becoming the first 64-bit title to be released on Evercade.

Piko Interactive, a key partner in delivering retro gaming experiences, provides content for retro video game consoles, plug-and-play consoles, and digital platforms. With a large catalog, they support titles like Glover through physical cartridges and digital platforms like Steam and GOG.
