1985 8-bit classic Boulder Dash is now available to play on PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Mac, and coming to Nintendo Switch next week.
Featuring 60 remastered levels from the original trilogy of games and new fan-created levels, Boulder Dash‘s 40th anniversary upgrade has been designed to pay tribute to the original. The new visual design should attract classic gamers and newcomers, potentially giving the game series a whole new lease of life.
It will certainly give you something to do, with an incredible 180 brand-new levels!
Created by Peter Liepa with Chris Gray, the original and its immediate sequels (II and III, ignoring most of the various ports and sequels that appeared in the interim) are recreated here in remastered form, with new game elements, and a new take on Boulder Dash Construction Kit — a level editor!
