Amiga Addict’s regular sister publication, Pixel Addict, has a new issue out soon, where it explores CASIO and also looks at Hewson Consultants.

Remember CASIO? Everyone had a CASIO calculator or watch (or both) when I was a kid. The Japanese manufacturer was incredibly successful at muscling into the UK’s early electronics industry, stealing market share from Sinclair and producing everything from keyboards to consoles. In Pixel Addict #30, the underrated Japanese tech pioneer is celebrated, and its legacy explored.

Meanwhile, interviews with Rob and Andrew Hewson will shed some light on their 1980s software house Hewson Consultants, responsible for games like Paradroid, Uridium, Cybernoid, and many others.

Pixel Addict is a magazine for digital history, but if you want something more specific, check out the latest Amiga Addict.
