Ziggurat Interactive and Strictly Limited Games are teaming up to give BloodRayne fans something they’ve been craving for years: the Definitive Collection, bundling all three of the iconic action-horror titles into one physical release for the first time.
Set for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 (along with previous gen systems), BloodRayne: Definitive Collection includes BloodRayne: ReVamped, BloodRayne 2: ReVamped, and BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites — a complete vampiric package spanning the series’ evolution from 3D hack-and-slash to stylish 2D side-scroller.
The physical limited editions will only be available for a short pre-order window, with dates to be announced later. They’ll ship globally alongside a digital release of the collection. So if you’re a collector or just fancy a bit of red-headed mayhem on your shelf, you’ll want to keep a close eye on Strictly Limited Games’ storefront.
A bite of BloodRayne history
The original BloodRayne was released on Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation 2, and made waves in the early 2000s with its unapologetic pulp violence, gothic worldbuilding, and half-vampire heroine, Rayne. A dhampir armed with blades, guns, and attitude, she carved her way through Nazi soldiers and supernatural beasts long before vampire games were trendy again.
BloodRayne 2: ReVamped upped the ante with acrobatics, time-slowing abilities, and even more brutal combat, while BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites took a bold turn — a 2D action platformer that distilled the series’ essence into fast-paced, bloody fun.
For collectors, this one’s special
While BloodRayne has seen digital re-releases before, this marks the first time all three remastered titles will be available together as physical editions. Strictly Limited’s run will be small, so this is shaping up to be one of those “blink, and you’ll miss it” moments for anyone collecting retro revivals or cult horror games.
