Two separate collections of TAITO’s RayStorm vertical shooters are set for release on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in 2023.

Also known as Gunlock or Galactic Attack beyond Japan, the original RayForce was introduced in February 1994 on the TAITO F3 arcade unit, and was followed by RayStorm and RayCrisis. These sequels moved away from the sprite-based graphics of the original and instead relied on then-cutting edge polygon-based 3D graphics.
