If you fancy a bit of modernised Pac-man with a Colin Farrell twist (well, who the heck doesn’t?!) then the Banshees of Inisherin browser game might be what you need.

We’re hedging our bets here, but bear with.

Banshees: The Game takes place in a Pac-man like maze, challenging you to collect severed fingers (presumably something relevant to the Academy Award-nominated movie) and escape to the pub at the centre of the maze. Along the way, you have to avoid various boring villagers and relatives lest you end up back at the beginning.

Now, having not seen Banshees of Inisherin, I know from promotional material that it stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, and knowing my wife, we’ll probably watch it some time soon. The big question is, has this very silly but charming retro-style pixel game (created by PR company Cogs and Marvel) informed my expectations of the movie?

I’m not sure, but while I think about it, I’m going to give round 3 another go. You can too, by visiting bansheesthegame.com.
