Amiga classic Zool has been repacked as Zool Redimensioned and after Steam success, seems to be heading to PlayStation 4.
The first game I played on the Steam Deck was Zool Redimensioned. The reason? Just to see if I liked the console before committing time (installation and gameplay) and affection. But not only did I fall in love with the Steam Deck, it reminded me how much I enjoyed Zool (full title: Zool: Ninja of the Nth Dimension) on the Amiga.
With a great soundtrack and Sonic-esque gameplay, Zool was the Amiga’s most recognizable character (aside from those Lemmings) and danced through a collection of challenging levels sponsored by Chupa Chups lollipops.
So, is Zool Redimensioned out now on PlayStation 4? Well, not quite. Achievements and trophies for the PS4 version are listed on ExoPhase, but there is so far no sign of the game on the PSN. But if you played the Amiga version back in the day or just like the look of Zool, keep an eye out for news of its arrival soon.
