A retro classic collection of video games is landing on Nintendo Switch in Japan later this year. TAITO Milestones 2 includes arcade games by Taito from the 80s and 90s decades.
Working alongside Hamster Corporation, known for their Arcade Archives series with sub-series ACA NEOGEO, nine titles are confirmed to make their way into the collection. These include:
- Ben Bero Beh
- Dino Rex
- Gun Frontier
- KiKi KaiKai
- Liquid Kids
- Metal Black
- The Legend of Kage
- The NewZealand Story
- Solitary Fighter
- Darius II
It will cost 5,720 yen in Japan and launch on 31st August 2023. There is no current news as to when it will be available to western audiences. The original TAITO Milestones released for western audiences on Switch in April last year costing £34.99 on the eShop. The 80s games from this release include:
- QIX
- SPACE SEEKER
- ALPINE SKI
- FRONT LINE
- WILD WESTERN
- Chack’n Pop
- ELEVATOR ACTION
- The FairyLand Story
- HALLEY’S COMET
- THE NINJAWARRIORS
The Nintendo Switch is continuing to expand its ports of retro games. Let’s hope this sequel makes its way to western audiences sometime this year!
