As rumoured earlier this week following Amiga 37, the Evercade Amiga games cartridge is happening.

The first collection of Amiga games will be compatible with the Evercade EXP console, and is expected to arrive some time in 2023.

At this point there is no news as to which games or publishers are involved in the licensing deal that Blaze Entertainment has made.

  • Partnership allows Amiga games to be played on Evercade
  • Evercade Cartridge Collections will highlight publishers and franchises who made games for Amiga systems
  • Game lists and publishers will be announced at a later date
  • These collections will join THEC64 in Evercade’s Blue-coloured Home Computer Line from 2023

“Home computing is something we’re passionate about at Blaze Entertainment and something we’re delighted to now be offering to our customers. This new partnership with Amiga opens up a huge realm of gaming history and nostalgia to our products. We’re excited to bring even more incredible games in the home computer space to our portfolio of licenses with the support of our new friends.”

Blaze Entertainment Managing Director, Andrew Byatt.

As a huge Amiga fan, this is really exciting. The prospect of a curated collection of big names and rare classics from my favourite computer system is mouthwatering,
