Scheduled for Saturday, June 17th, RetCon is a retro gaming festival taking place in Greenford, Ealing, in Greater London. If you’re in the area, it’s worth heading to the event, which features various key retro names relevant to UK computing.
Costing just £6 per ticket, the event features retro systems (e.g. Spectrum, C64, NES, Sega Master System, Amstrad CPC and Atari 2600, Atari ST, Amiga, SNES), retro games (e.g. Cannon Fodder, Speedball II, Street Fighter 2, Turrican II, Rick Dangerous) and:
- Talks from titans of the computing world (currently confirmed: Kevin Toms, Oliver Twins, Trevor Dickinson of A-EON, David Pleasance, ex-Commodore UK)
- Gaming competitions
- Merchandise stalls
Running from 10am to 5pm at Greenford Community Centre, 170 Oldfield Lane South, Greenford UB6 9JS, the event is straightforward to reach from the A40 (London to Fishguard Trunk Road).
