Own and play a piece of video game history with this newly manufactured Atari game cartridge for the classic Atari 2600 console. This limited edition cartridge features exclusive key art from artist Butcher Billy, and only 500 copies are available for pre-order.

Dark Chambers is a classic top-down dungeon crawler that challenges players to explore an underground maze, collecting as many treasures as possible while fighting zombies, wraiths, skeletons, wizards, and even the grim reaper.

Why is Dark Chambers considered rare?

The Atari XP range issues and reissues unreleased and rare titles from Atari’s archive. Dark Chambers was hit by the legal action by John Palevich against Atari over the underlying code of Gauntlet, and as such its release was curtailed.

Intended to be compatible with the Atari 2600 series, Atari 7800, and the upcoming Atari 2600+, the game is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2024.
