The name Great Giana Sisters is synonymous with Nintendo’s litigious history, a game clearly inspired by Super Mario Bros., and which managed to sell a few copies before being pulled back in 1987.
Over the years, various spin-offs and sequels have been issued, but none of them are as impressive as Giana Power Edition 2023. Boasting 16 new levels and full trainer menu options, this edition of the game might just change how you think about Great Giana Sisters.
It’s certainly a version that is worth checking out.
You can download Giana Power Edition 2023 from CSDb, where it is available in d64 format. This means you should be able to run it on a C64 Mini as well as the usual emulators.
