Members will probably be aware of the “fun” I’ve had recently with the BBC Model B’s power supply going “pop.” Prior to that happening, I had planned to kick off some regular videos of the original Football Manager, which was initially going to be loaded from cassette.
You see, I had aimed to use the BBC Micro’s data port, a cassette player, and the original Football Manager on cassette. I bought the cable, dug out the original game, and got excited.
So, why didn’t I run it from cassette? The video explains what happened…
