Game Boy Mario classics Dr Mario X, Mario Golf, and Mario Tennis all coming to Nintendo Switch this week.
As part of the Mar10 celebratrations, Nintendo has (along with announcing a new Mario movie) confirmed the arrival of three new titles to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
The games will arrive on March 12th and are as follows:
Dr Mario (1990)
The portable version of the NES puzzle game where you play as Dr. Mario, clearing viruses in a bottle by lining up colored capsules. Whereas the NES original is in colour, the Game Boy version uses different shades of grey for the capsules.
Mario Golf (1999)
Slightly different to the N64 title of the same name (although supporting Transfer Pak linking), this is a blend of golf and RPG, and you can play as Mario, Luigi, or a custom character.
Mario Tennis (2001)
This is the first handheld installment in the Mario Tennis series, with a career progression mode and special shots like powerful volleys and lobs.
Here’s a look at the game trailers:
These three titles are available to play from March 12th with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.
