German techno artist DJ Remute has teamed up with Strictly Limited Games to release new versions of his albums “Technoptimistic” and “The Cult of Remute” on retro cartridges.

These strictly limited editions will be available to preorder from February 20th, 2022, each featuring an exclusive bonus song composed for this set of releases.

Well-known in techno circles, Remute has performed in clubs across Germany, and has a particular affinity with retro. Previous releases have appeared on floppy disks and retro cartridges, so this forthcoming set of limited editions is no big surprise.

German publisher Strictly Limited Games is offering two of Remute’s outstanding albums, with collectors and techno music enthusiasts encouraged to preorder from Strictly Limited Games on Sunday, February 20th. The albums in question will each be compatible with specific retro consoles, namely the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.

We program, they execute. Technology helps us with uncomfortable tasks, makes us do adventurous things and can even cure us when we’re ill. If we maintain a positive attitude towards technology, it will enhance our minds and take us to far places. That’s why I am TECHNOPTIMISTIC.”
