UPDATE: The Legend of Zelda Game & Watch handheld is now back in stock.
If you’ve never picked up a Nintendo Game & Watch revival handheld, The Legend of Zelda device (a sequel to the Super Mario Bros. console) has been available at nearly 50% discount (around £25) on Amazon – and now they’re all gone.
This heavy discount follows a previous 28% discount on The Legend of Zelda Game & Watch earlier in 2022. If you’re disappointed, it’s still available for around £33 from third party sellers.
Barely a year since its November 2021 release (with an RRP of £49.99) The Legend of Zelda Game & Watch handheld features:
- The Legend of Zelda,
- Zelda II: The Adventure of Link,
- The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
- Special Game & Watch edition of Vermin with Link as a playable character
Now, you know Zelda fans are pretty passionate. But that won’t prepare you for this: the console has an amazing 4.8 out of 5 rating on Amazon, based on 2975 (at the time of writing) respondents. Reviews include:
Great little system, bright screen and can get surprisingly loud. All games save progress and the clock is accurate.

The Game & Watch has a good build quality, I like the color and the LCD screen is just perfect. Maybe a bit smaller than what I expected, but still playable. The console is very light, recommended if you like Zelda!
We understand that the Nintendo Game & Watch The Legend of Zelda handheld is still available from Currys for just £30, but who knows how long that will last…?
