The first Evercade 64-bit title has been announced. Heading to Evercade VS and EXP systems in April 2024, Glover features in the upcoming Piko Interactive Collection 4.
Glover is a puzzle-platformer game released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998. It’s quite unique compared to typical platformers, as you don’t directly control a character, but rather a magical four-fingered glove named Glover.
As you can tell, this is a pretty big deal. The Evercade is known as a system that can emulate 8, 16, and 32-bit systems. But 64-bit Nintendo 64 console titles?
That’s something new.
Glover is part of a 10-title collection, which features 8-bit and 16-bit titles. The full list of contents for the cartridge are as follows:
- Bad Street Brawler
- Glover (64-bit)
- The Fidgetts
- Mermaids of Atlantis
- Risky Woods
- Sküljagger: Revolt of the Westicans
- Star X
- Street Racer
- Target: Renegade
- Zero Tolerance Underground
