Hot on the heels of its Amiga games cartridge from Team 17 comes news of a new Evercade cart. The Piko Interactive Collection 3 consists of 10 classics, combining titles from different genres and platforms.

As you may know, Piko is a publisher with a combination of classic IPs and some more recent titles for retro gear. Founded in 2013, the Texas-based company has also issued ports to newer systems. This latest Piko Interactive collection adds 10 games to an existing list, meaning 43 titles from the publisher will be available on the Evercade platform once the cartridge is issued in May 2023.

The list of games is as follows:

  • 40 Winks (32-bit)
  • Legend of Wukong
  • Metal Mech: Man & Machine
  • Motor City Patrol
  • Punch King
  • Radikal Bikers (Previously Unreleased)
  • Stanley: The Search for Dr. Livingston
  • Super Bubble Pop
  • Zero Tolerance

A look at the trailer above highights what a great collection this is, with platformers, RPGs, FPS, racing, and even puzzle games. Of particular interest is 40 Winks, a rare 32-bit title originally intended for release on the Nintendo 64 in 2000, but which was only released on the Sony PlayStation. Piko Interactive launched a successful Kickstarter in 2018 to get the N64 game released.

Pre-orders for the Piko Interactive Collection 3 cartridge open on March 17th, 2023. Learn more on the Evercade website.
