Followig news that retro-style brawler Fight’N Rage is being released on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, it has now been announced that the game will see a limited edition physical release for its fifth anniversary.
Originally released on Steam back in 2017, this belated edition will be packed some exclusives that you won’t find anywhere else.
Fight’N Rage is a 2D beat’em up inspired by classics from the golden era of the genre. This comic-looking retro title is set in a distant future where humans are enslaved by mutants. In Fight’N Rage, you can combine attacks and create combos to significantly increase the score over the course of the game.
Fight’N Rage has been praised by critics and the community with “Very Positive” Reviews on Steam
Video games publisher SelectaPlay are collaborating with BlitWorks Games and Seba Games Dev to produce the limited edition which will be available in summer 2023 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PS5. To celebrate its status as a limited release, this edition of Fight’N Rage will feature an exclusive cover by acclaimed artist Ilya Kuvshinov (whose work you may know from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2045).
In Fight’N Rage you can play solo or in local co-op mode with up to three players. As befits the genre, you have the option of fighting enemies with button combinations, fighting one-on-one against AI opponents or other players. Unlocks give you new costumes, game modes, options, and playable enemies.
The Fight’N Rage 5th Anniversary Limited Edition includes:
- Fight’N Rage game
- Exclusive game cover by Ilya Kuvshinov
