Matt Hughson, the creator of the #1 ranked homebrew game of all time, Witch n’ Wiz, has announced his next game, From Below Pocket. The game is now available for pre-order for Game Boy and Game Boy Color until October 16, 2023, at $79.99 CAD.
From Below Pocket is a puzzle game where players defend a fortress from a Kraken by strategically dropping blocks. The game features classic gameplay with a unique twist, modernized controls, and a competitive multiplayer mode for two players via a Game Link cable. It also includes an on-cartridge battery for saving high scores and game settings.
From Below is also being re-issued on NES on pre-order for $89.99 CAD. It is also available for the VS.System Arcade.
