Details of the second Kickstart convention for Amiga fans have been announced. Kickstart 02 will take place on 29-30th June, 2024, and returns to Nottingham’s Meadow Lane Football Stadium (home of Notts County).
Kickstart 02 boasts a great collection of guests. So far confirmed are:
- STOO CAMBRIDGE – Former Sensible Software artist. Known for Cannon Fodder and Sensible Soccer.
- PETE CANNON – is a chart-topping music producer who creates award-winning tunes using an Amiga computer.
- TONY WARRINER – Former Video Game Designer at Revolution Software, known for Beneath A Steel Sky and Lure of the Temptress.
- JOHN SHAWLER – will be hosting the event and there will be a live recording of the Amigos Podcast at Kickstart.
The show will feature a new talks room, more guests, more traders, and even a community space. You can book tickets for the Kickstart 02 event now (£20 a day) on TicketTailor.

Whether you go for one day or the whole weekend (parking is best booked in advance), you can expect the following at Kickstart 02:

And as with last year, there is a massive afterparty event planned. This will take place at Saltbox in Nottingham on the Saturday night (June 29th) and will add £16 to your ticket. The evening event features life music, with David Wise, Pete Cannon, Hoffman, and Vogue Renege.
