1990s cult platform shooter Jim Power: The Lost Dimension is back, and this time he’s heading to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, NES, SNES, and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis!
Rereleased coutesy of Strictly Limited Games, QUByte, and PIKO Interactive, Jim Power: The Lost Dimension puts you in control of the eponymous super spy as he challenges the evil Vaprak.
The evil alien Vaprak is threatening to destroy the earth, which is the last planet that stands between it and the entry to the 5th dimension. If Vaprak succeeds, his species will flood the galaxy and all will be lost. It is up to Jim Power to infiltrate and slay the evil. Originally released in the ‘90s Jim Power was hailed for its outstanding graphics and challenging gameplay. Now Jim is back and ready to do it all over again.
Way back when Jim Power: The Lost Dimension was originally released, there was supposed to be a version for the Sega Genesis. This was axed at the last minute, but if you buy the game on Nintendo Switch or PS4, you’ll get that lost version thrown in. In addition, a new NES version, developed by PIKO Interactive, is also included in the bundle. The result: enjoy this retro shooter on Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and NES for the first time!

Unsurprisingly, Strictly Limited Games has some special editions of Jim Power: The Lost Dimension up its sleeve. Two unique limited editions for modern consoles are available to pre-order from the same date.
The Limited Edition is limited to 2,000 copies for Nintendo Switch and 1,000 for PS4, at a price of 29.99€/34,99$, including a colorful game manual.
