Mega City Police is a new action roguelike game that combines intense combat, retro aesthetics, and an electrifying synth-wave soundtrack. About Mega City Police’s developer
Undreamed Games is a one-man indie studio based in Amsterdam. Founded in 2018 by solo developer Andreu Accensi, the studio is currently finishing its debut title, Mega City Police. The game is a love letter to the 80s, inspired by the hard-as-nails pixelated games and action movies of that era.
Accensi himself is a child of the 80s, and he wanted to create a game that captured the feeling of those days. “I remember spending hours playing games like Metal Slug and Contra,” he said. “They were so challenging, but they were also so much fun. I wanted to create a game that would evoke that same feeling of excitement and nostalgia.”
