This new Atari 50 DLC includes classic Bandai Namco titles, along with the usual documentary additions for this collection.
In my view, the best produced assembly of retro games ever, Atari 50 is about to get even bigger. Today, a new Atari 50 DLC pack was confirmed, which will add four new titles to the collection, along with the prerequisite interviews, archival material, documents, and photos.
What’s in the new Atari 50 DLC?
Various DLC packs have been issued for Atari 50 across all the platforms it was released on. I think this collection, however, is the smallest expansion, although it does — inevitably — include a yellow puck…
The full list of titles is:
- Pac-Man (multiple versions)
- Galaga
- Galaxian
- Dig Dug
- Xevious

The synopsis reads:
Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is being expanded with THE NAMCO LEGENDARY PACK, featuring an all-new interactive timeline and set of games exploring the history of Bandai Namco titles on Atari hardware. Includes multiple versions of Atari PAC-MAN, GALAGA, GALAXIAN, DIG DUG, and XEVIOUS, along with video interviews, archival materials, documents, and photos from the era.
On the Steam listing, we can see just which versions of which games are included:
– 3 Atari PAC-MAN games: PAC-MAN 2600, 5200, and Atari 8-bit. This marks the first ever re-release of these games for consoles.
– Interactive timeline exploring the history of Namco titles on Atari consoles featuring video interviews with developers, archival materials and documents, photos from the era, and more.
– The U.S. arcade versions of DIG DUG and XEVIOUS, developed by Namco in Japan and originally released by Atari, re-released in this form for the first time ever.
– Home console versions of GALAGA, XEVIOUS, GALAXIAN, and DIG DUG.
So, it might be 5 titles, but it’s actually 9 games.

How can you get the Atari 50 DLC: Namco Legendary Pack?
Digital Eclipse’s stock really rose with its work on Atari 50, a project that was later joined not just by an expanding line of DLC, but a Tetris collection too.
There is currently no release date for the Namco Legendary Pack, but if you want this new Atari 50 DLC for PC, you can wishlist it on Steam.
