After the incredible announcement from the recent Nintendo Direct that Game Boy and Game Boy Advance libraries will be the newest addition to Nintendo Switch Online, players are already underway with reliving some of their favourite retro games. However, the libraries have yet to expand and Nintendo have left fans unsure of when we’ll be getting some additional titles.
A few days ago, Stephen Totilo (co-author of Axios Gaming) mentioned on Twitter that he had contacted Nintendo to find out more about when we can expect the libraries to be updated. Their response was, “There is no set schedule for new releases, but each collection will continue to grow”.
Titles yet to have a release date include The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons, Golden Sun, Pokémon: Trading Card Game and Fire Emblem just to name a few. Despite the uncertainty of when these titles will be landing on NSO, there’s undoubtedly some great games to look forward to!
