Following news of its release on Evercade, a new publishing run of Badger Punch Games’ astonishing Roguecraft on Amiga has been confirmed. This is the physical version of the game, which is being reissued in three editions — Standard, Deluxe, and “Zero Clucks.”
Roguecraft launched earlier this year, and garnered attention through its use of isometric graphics and procedurally generated levels. This makes every go of the game different, which obviously adds a lot of depth (and makes mapping impossible!).
The game features the following:
- Fully procedurally generated levels.
- A unique experience with every playthrough.
- A plethora of potent potions and pickups.
- Glorious pixelated isometric graphics.
- Atmospheric soundtrack by Jogeir Liljedahl.
- Gruesome sound effects by h0ffman.
- No easter eggs – just lots of chickens.
Incredibly, this game runs on Amiga 500 systems, with 1MB Chip RAM and 1MB Other RAM. It will also run on the A500+, A600, A1200, A2000 (ECS Agnus), A3000, A4000, and CD32, along with the A500 Mini and emulators. Roguecraft can be played from floppy disk or WHDLoad.
