Quadroids, a brain-teasing 2D puzzle platformer from Blue Loop Studio, is now available for free on Steam. In the game, players help an evil robotic overlord named Roboctopus conquer the galaxy by controlling an army of minions across four screens in real-time.
The game features 100 interconnected levels filled with lasers, acid baths, and other hazards. Players must use their wits to guide Roboctopus’ army of Quadroid bots to safety, sacrificing them wisely as needed.
A new cinematic trailer released at yesterday’s MIX event gives players a glimpse of the challenging puzzles and mind-bending gameplay in store.
“Quadroids was designed to challenge the most hardcore puzzle platforming fans out there,” said Guillaume Crouzille, the creator of Quadroids. “The free Steam demo will give players a taste of what’s to come, as they sacrifice Quadroid after Quadroid in an attempt to discover a solution lying among four screens.”
