The chances of CSGO being knocked from the top of the Steam charts was always going to happen.
That the game that took it down with a headshot is another FPS MMO with specifically low-fi, retro style graphics, makes it particularly wonderful.
The game in question is BattleBit, which recently issued a remastered edition. The game boasts a range of weapons, mobile infantry, and even aerial assault craft. It looks like a lot of fun, but why are the graphics comparatively rudimentary?
It’s all about getting as many people in the game as possible. While the low level polygons might look late 90s, the game moves and plays like a totally modern game. Think CoD or Battlefield, but with 254 players in each game, and you’ll have an idea of what to expect from BattleBit.
If you like the classic FPS polygon look, then you might want to try BattleBit. It’s available to play right now on Steam, for just under £13.
