The classic PC strategy game is coming to iOS and Android on December 2nd

The Emperor himself is on the move again — and this time, he’s invading phones and tablets. Feral Interactive has announced that Total War: Napoleon, Creative Assembly’s acclaimed strategy classic, is coming to iOS and Android on December 2nd.

I’m pretty excited about this, as Total War: Napoleon was my first taste of the RTS series, and offers some excellent battles.

A campaign worthy of an emperor

Following the success of Total War: Empire on mobile, Napoleon brings its signature mix of turn-based grand strategy and cinematic real-time battles to the touch screen. Players can step into the polished boots of Napoleon Bonaparte, guiding his rise from Corsican beginnings to his conquest of Europe — or lead the powers of the coalition to stand in his way.

The release includes all major campaigns from the original PC version, plus The Peninsular Campaign DLC as standard. Expect to relive some of Napoleon’s most iconic clashes, from Austerlitz to Waterloo, all reimagined with new particle effects and 19th-century weaponry.

Built for mobile command

Feral Interactive has overhauled the user interface and controls for mobile play, with refined touch commands, streamlined management systems, and even keyboard and mouse support for iPad and Android users. The result promises the full Total War experience in your hands — diplomacy, logistics, morale, and all.

This news makes Total War: Napoleon one of the key classic PC games you can play on Android and iOS.

Strategic depth on the go

Total War: Napoleon will be priced at £9.99 / $14.99 / €12.49 when it launches on December 2nd, with iOS players able to preorder now on the App Store. Given Feral’s excellent track record with ports like Total War: Empire and GRID Legends, this could be one of the most ambitious and complete strategy games yet to hit mobile.

It’s time to polish your epaulettes — the battle for Europe is about to begin again.
