Lego and The Pokémon Company have officially revealed the first-ever Lego Pokémon sets, launching worldwide on 27 February 2026. The first wave focuses on classic Kanto-era favourites, with Pikachu, Eevee, Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise all getting the brick-built treatment.
Pre-orders of the sets — announced last year — are live now via Lego, Lego Stores, Pokémon Center (US, UK and Canada) and selected retailers.
All sets are rated 18+, clearly aimed at collectors and display builders rather than playroom floors.
Pikachu explodes onto the scene

The headline release is Lego Pokémon Pikachu and Poké Ball. This 2,050-piece display set shows Pikachu leaping dramatically out of a Poké Ball, surrounded by lightning effects.
The base is shaped like a lightning bolt and includes a hidden “25” — a neat nod to Pikachu’s Pokédex number. Pikachu can be posed either mid-action or sitting calmly next to a closed Poké Ball.
Price: £179.99 / €199.99 / $199.99
The Kanto trio goes massive

The biggest set in the range is Lego Pokémon Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise. At 6,838 pieces, it’s one of Lego’s largest display sets ever.
All three fully evolved Kanto starters are included, each with articulation and detailed sculpting. They can be displayed individually or together on a shared base, which includes biome-inspired design touches and hidden Easter eggs.
Price: £579.99 / €649.99 / $649.99
Eevee keeps things cute

For something smaller, there’s Lego Pokémon Eevee. This 587-piece set features poseable limbs, head and tail, with a very expressive face.
It also supports Lego’s Build Together app, letting multiple people build the model at the same time.
Price: £54.99 / €59.99 / $59.99
Scavenger hunt and launch extras
From 12 January to 27 February, Lego and Pokémon are running a digital scavenger hunt across their online content. Players who find hidden Lego Pokémon clues can unlock rewards and enter a draw to win a trip to PokémonXP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco, plus all three Lego Pokémon sets.
There’s also a Pokémon Center gift-with-purchase: pre-ordering the Kanto trio set in the US, UK or Canada includes a Lego Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection, while stocks last.

And yes… this always felt inevitable
I’m a big Lego fan, and after Mario and Pac-Man, Pokémon joining the Lego lineup felt less like a shock and more like something that was always going to happen. Two massive nostalgia machines, finally clicking into place.
What’s smart here is that LEGO hasn’t gone small. These aren’t throwaway toys — they’re big, detailed display pieces aimed straight at people who grew up with Red and Blue and now have shelf space and disposable income.
I don’t need to tell you which of the Kanto starters I’d build first. The only real problem now is working out where on earth you’d actually put a 6,800-piece Pokémon monument once it’s finished.
