Over 70 Classic Xbox Games Made Compatible With Current Consoles

70+ Xbox 360 and classic Xbox games have today been added to the backward compatibility library for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

In this celebratory announcement to commemorate 20 years of the Xbox console series (watch it above), all games support Auto HDR and many will receive a resolution enhancement on Xbox Series X|S. And as if that wasn’t enough, 11 titles have had an FPS boost along with a further 26 games already available.

Among the classic Xbox and Xbox 360 games now available with compatibility with Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S you will find some key franchises and series:

  • The entire Max Payne series
  • The F.E.A.R. franchise
  • The entire Skate franchise
  • The Otogi series

Other games have also been added. If you’ve been waiting for any of these retro classics for Xbox and Xbox 360 to appear on the Xbox One or Series X|S, now is the time to head to the Xbox Store.
