RetroArch 1.10.0 Released – What’s New for Retro Gamers?

The release of RetroArch 1.10.0 brings a few useful incremental improvements to the retro gaming platform, affecting netplay and Vulkan.

RetroArch is a front-end for emulation systems, game engines, native games and other media playing tools, available on pretty much any platform you can think of. This latest release adds some useful new tweaks and enhancements, but there are no completely new features. Among the highlights you’ll find:

  • HDR support for the Vulkan open standard for 3D graphics and computing.
  • HDR support for Slang shaders (the first shader with HDR support is crt\crt-sony-pvm-4k-hdr.slangp.)
  • Netplay new features: text chat, host ping limiter, client ping counter.
  • Improvements to netplay
  • Optional hide effect for XMB menu
  • VSync swap interval for Direct3D 10 and 11 drivers

Download RetroArch 1.10.0 to get the latest version.
