Coming soon on Steam is Arcade Paradise, a modern game that features retro-inspired games. They’re all part of the world you enter – a 1990s arcade.
Created by Guerilla Collective, the game puts you in charge of a laundry (laundromat) that you decide to turn into an arcade. Over 30 custom arcade games with a very retro feel (no genuine titles, however) are included in the game. Your job is to set high scores so your customers will spend more and more money trying to beat.
Welcome to Arcade Paradise, the 90’s-fuelled retro arcade adventure. You play as Ashley, and you’ve just been given the keys to the family laundromat. Rather than washing rags for a living, you decide to turn the laundromat into the ultimate arcade. Choose from over 35 games to be in the arcade inspired by three decades of gaming – all of which are playable with high scores to set. Stay one step ahead of your father, manage and invest profits, and build your very own Arcade Paradise!
Arcade Paradise is set to launch on pretty much every current-gen platform, so it should be easy enough to find when it is finally released later in 2021.
