New research listing the top most anticipated video game products of 2022 highlights GTA V with almost 3 million internet searches worldwide.
First released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013, Grand Theft Auto V is set to be issued on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X systems when it is released in March 2022. While Rockstar Games might have been busy with Red Dead Redemption for most of the intervening years, it is incredible that a game released two generations ago should be garnering so much attention.
While missing the charm of the early games, the GTA series has become a global phenomenon. The forthcoming March 2022 release of the game will have performance improvements and technical tweaks for a more authentic experience that matches the next gen hardware.
Top10Casinos.com experts analysed worldwide Google search trends for 80 games released this year to establish the most anticipated titles.

Curiously, several titles in the list are from established franchises and either remakes or sequels. The most curious inclusion, however, isn’t even a game at all – it’s the Steam Deck, Valve’s upcoming portable Linux-based PC gaming system.
The big question is, of course, will GTA V meet expectations, or will PS5 and Xbox Series X be hankering for the glory of days past?
