The National Film & Sci-fi Museum in Milton Keynes has opened its retro arcade, the Pixel Bunker, where you can play classic arcade cabs.
Dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and exhibition of the work and creativity that is required in film and TV production, the museum has partnered with partnered with Replay Events, the team behind the PLAY Expo gaming shows. Games on site include Pac-Man, Ridge Racer, House of the Dead, Space Harrier, Star Wars, Asteroids, Paperboy, and many more. All cabinets are set to freeplay mode, so once you pay your entrance fee, there’s no need to have a collection of 1980s 10p pieces in your pocket.
Three timed sessions are available throughout the day. Session tickets cost £13.50 for adult tickets and £9.50 for children’s tickets. Family tickets are also available at £35.00, while NUS concessions are available too. Learn more and get directions at www.thepixelbunker.com.
