If you ordered THEA500 mini then here is some good news – it looks like it the Amiga console might ship on schedule!
Retro Games has confirmed that THEA500 Mini, the fully-licensed reworking of the 16-bit classic computer, has entered full production ahead of its March 25th, 2022 release. This puts it in sharp contrast to many other retro gaming systems of late, from the Analogue systems to the Evercade VS and many mor.
In addition, the final 25th preinstalled game has been announced: Geoff Crammond’s Stunt Car Racer! The stunningly beautoiful (and tricky) car sim joins Project-X Special Edition, Super Cars II, and F-16 Combat Pilot, among others. Further, the system will have WHDLoad functionality, allowing you to add your own Amiga ROMs on a USB stick.
That final list of 25 preinstalled Amiga games:
Alien Breed 3D, Alien Breed: Special Edition 92, Another World, Arcade Pool, ATR: All Terrain Racing, Battle Chess, Cadaver, California Games, Dragon’s Breath, F-16 Combat Pilot, Kick Off 2, Paradroid 90, Pinball Dreams, Project-X: Special Edition 93, Qwak, Simon the Sorcerer, Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe, Stunt Car Racer, Super Cars II, The Chaos Engine, The Lost Patrol, The Sentinel, Titus the Fox, Worms: The Director’s Cut, Zool: Ninja Of The ”Nth” Dimension
THEA500 Mini hits stores on March 25th, 2022. You can order THEA500 Mini for the £119.99 RRP on Amazon.
