Retro dev modern legend H0ffman has shared progress of his current progress: porting Metal Gear to the SEGA Mega Drive.

Initially released on the MSX before being officially ported to the NES, the original Metal Gear might lack the depth of MSG and the sequels, but remains a worthwhile play in its own right.

There’s no indication as to when this will be ready, but this Metal Gear port certainly looks like a project to keep an eye on.
