TV’s most exciting video games show is back: GamesMaster will hit  E4’s YouTube channel on November 21, 2021.

With Sir Trevor McDonald installed as the new GamesMaster – complete with redundant digital monocle – and a trio of hosts in Rab Florence, Frankie Ward, and Ty Loga, the trailer reveals that at least one episode is already recorded. With a bunch of games in the trailer, including Mario Kart, the highlight may well be watching green screen VR wearers flailing like they’re failing. Which in many respects, they are.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the GamesMaster team, especially as the one thing I love almost as much as playing games is watching other people play them – and believe me when I say I take the art of celebrating their triumphs and failures very seriously indeed.” – Frankie Ward

When is GamesMaster on TV again?

While details about GamesMaster’s return to the E4 YouTube channel, it’s appearance on the TV-version of E4 is less certain. However, the show is expected to air on E4’s broadcast TV channel at a later date.

Details of that, and whether we can expect retro titles to appear on the show, have yet to be announced.
